SpaPedicure
A complete pedicure experience...
A ceremonial experience...
A soothing marine experience...
Why do I want a SpaPedicure? All feet are born beautiful, then life takes its toll as our feet lead us forward, bearing our weight, yet taken for granted. SpaPedicure is more than a salon treatment, it’s a spa experience for the feet that touches the spirit and soothes every fiber of our being. With SpaPedicure feet are refreshed, revitalized and renewed.Regular SpaPedicures are a matter of GOOD GROOMING and should be established as a year round routine. Regular SpaPedicures help prevent infection and other foot problems. When your feet are comfortable, your entire body feels better. Your feet are your grounding to the earth. Your feet are also one of the most sensitive parts of the body, yet we have a tendency to abuse our feet more than any other part of the body, by standing on them all day, squeezing them into tight shoes, and not tending to their care on a regular basis. As a nail professional I can establish a regular routine to meet your needs for both hand AND foot care. The two must not be viewed any differently as far as regular care is concerned. I recommend the SpaPedicure® service every 4 to 5 weeks. Plan on the service taking approximately one hour. Additional procedures are available such as the gentle and gradual exfoliation steps (with NO Credo blade - as we know that our objective is to SMOOTH NOT REMOVE calluses), the cooling and hydrating marine masque which is a highlight for many, and the well researched massage routine which in many cases is one of the major reasons the client loves to receive SpaPedicure. Our research revealed the top reasons clients like the service. They are, in order of priority:
The Procedure
Some people are a little nervous when getting their 1st time SpaPedicure. These pedigree basics may make you feel more at ease.
Step 1 Prepare Bath
Fill foot bath with
warm water. I place your feet in foot bath. I add a squirt of
Antibacterial Soft Soak and a few shakes of Energizing Crystals.
Remove foot from
bath and pat dry. Pedicure nails, remove polish, clip nails, file, apply Creamy
Cuticle remover and put back in bath. Let the Creamy Cuticle Remover soak in
bath before pushing back cuticle.
Remove foot from
bath and pat dry. Apply Callus-Soft to all rough, dry callus areas first and
massage. Apply Callus-Soft to entire foot and massage 2-3 minutes. This will
soften all dry skin and leave the foot soft. Before rinsing, smooth
callus with a Callus Grinder or Foot File, push back cuticles, and exfoliate.
Leaving Callus Soft
on foot start exfoliating. Shake a small amount of Energizing Crystals into the
palm of your hand and apply enough Intense Massage Oil to make a paste. Use
this as an invigorating scrub to exfoliate and soften dry, dead skin. Massage
into foot and lower leg 2-3 minutes. Rinse thoroughly, put back into bath.
Remove foot from
bath and pat dry off. Spray revitalizing spritz onto leg and foot. Pour Intense
Massage Oil into palm of hand, rub hands together to warm oil. Massage foot and
lower leg 5-7 minutes. Do not rinse off. Wipe off and wrap foot in towel.
Clean off toe nails and follow with polish if needed.
